As I was shopping in one of my favorite candy stores in the Indianapolis airport, I heard a mother say to her toddler, "Come here I want to show you something. But don't ask me for anything. "
Thankfully, she said it again because I was certain I misheard her. But actually, I heard what she said perfectly. She told her toddler she was going to show him some great candy on the condition he didn't ask for anything. You can guess how that played out.
