A story in last week’s USA Today shed light on the income increases that are the direct result of earning a college degree. The article highlighted that college graduates make roughly two times more, about $24,000 more, than those with only a high school degree.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak at the New Directions in Online Learning conference in Boston. My topic was moving from a faculty-centered to student-centric institution. I described the WGU model and how we partner every student with a faculty mentor and detailed the customization of our efforts. I wish I would have had this new report, which names WGU as a “Best Value School” to share with the attendees.
